Grilled Fulton Valley Chicken

Didn't get a chance to review Noodle Theory when I was in Berkeley. I saw the YELP reviews for this place, and was hesitant when I initially decided to give it a try. However, I was pleasantly surprised after getting my dish. I ordered the Grilled Fulton Valley Chicken Noodles. The noodles had a hint of ginger with crushed peanuts. The all white meat chicken was perfectly tender and the dish was well balanced. Not too sweet. The restaurant is a tiny little place in Oakland. It has maybe enough space to feed 20-30 tops. Great atmosphere and even better food. Definitely try this if you are out in Oakland.

Tropicalia Brazilian Grill

1966 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027 You want to talk about amazing food? Let's talk about amazing food. Tropicalia is a little known gem in Los Angeles (and probably up there on my top lists of places to eat in LA). The food is great, the price is just right, and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion-- family dinner, date, lunch with a friend, really anything. My recommended dish, is the chicken tropicalia (pictured below). I choose this nearly every time I go, and I have never been disappointed. The chicken is perfectly tender and the salsa campanha is a perfectly tangy/spicy touch for the chicken. And best part? Top it off with two deliciously caramelized plantains. I would highly recommend this dish and this restaurant to anyone who wants Brazillian food.
